Powerloader is a weight and balance system for aircraft that runs on the
Microsoft Windows operating system. This means that hardware costs can be kept
to a minimum. Powerloader is founded on a database and can use an internet
connection to update aircraft information from a master database (Powerloader
does not require a constant internet connection).
All relevant information needed to make a loadsheet for an aircraft, such as
aircraft center of gravity, is stored in the database. The system uses ODBC to
connect to the database, so your company can use the same database system for
Powerloader as for other information systems that the company already has,or
just use the default database.
Simple and friendly
Powerloader has a very similar user interface to Microsoft Word or Excel, so
those familiar with these programs can use it easily. Powerloader's "easy to
use" user interface ensures that very little training is required to become
comfortable with the system.
All information is displayed in an easy-to-read manner on the screen so that
users do not need to navigate between many dialog boxes to perform all tasks.
Passengers are distributed in the cabin using the seating [graphicsal view of
the cabin eða eitthvað svoleiðis]. You will see an instant index change when
each passenger is seated.
Powerloader is especially practical for cargo operators, it can be used in the
cockpit by the pilots themselves, thus eliminating the need for a special
loadmaster.

Integration with on-line systems
Powerloader can be used in conjunction with eLoadsheet.net. Since Powerloader
does not require a constant internet connection it can be used in off-line
situations, such as on board the airplane or in rural areas where internet
connections are not reliable. eLoadsheet.net, the on-line system, can share a
master database with Powerloader, making the systems completely integrated.
Customers relying on Powerloader
Among Powerloader users are: Icelandair,
Air Greenland,
Icebird Airlines, Air Atlanta,
Air Iceland and Avia Air N.V.
